How I Raised My Credit Score from 412 to 758
Like
most people who graduate from College, I had a $15,000.00 student loan
and owed the credit card companies over $5,000.00. I was going through
a career change and decided to get out of the rat race instead of working
for someone else. I was earning $300.00 a week take home pay and was getting
deeper into debt regardless of how many hours I worked. I decided to go
into business for myself and in the first 6 months I was not able to make
my loan and credit card payments. I felt like my life was out of control.
After 6 more months my business started to improve and I called different lawyers and accountants to get quotes on how much it would cost in legal fees to help me fix my bad credit. At the time, my credit score taken a dive down to the low 400s. The quotes I was getting from different law firms were around $5,000.00 to negotiate with the loan companies.
